Vince Taylor, one of the best bodybuilders of the 1980's and '90's, is the guest this week on the Bodybuilding Legends Podcast. In Part One of the interview (19:22), Vince talks about how he got into bodybuilding after meeting John Brown in Germany, working his way up through the amateur ranks in bodybuilding competitions, tearing his bicep at a posing exhibition and winning the 1988 NPC Nationals. Vince also talks about competing in his first Mr. Olympia contest in 1989, the drug tested Olympia in 1990 and his breakthrough performance at the 1991 Mr. Olympia where Vince introduced a new posing routine that took the bodybuilding world by storm. Host John Hansen also talks about the shocking news of Mr. Olympia Shawn Rhoden being accused of rape and not being allowed to compete at the Mr. Olympia this year (04:04) and John reads an article from the MuscleMag Annual 78/79 issue called "Arnold Came to Dinner" written by Robert Nailon (1:34:19).
