To celebrate the end of 2018, the Bodybuilding Legends Podcast looks back to the year 1968 to look at the world of Bodybuilding during the Golden Age of the sport. Guest Jerry Brainum joins host John Hansen to reminisce about bodybuilding 50 years ago. Jerry and John talk about Arnold Schwarzenegger moving to America in 1968, his loss to Frank Zane at the 1968 IFBB Mr. Universe and how he was able to use the psychological technique of Modeling to be successful. Jerry also talks about the dominance of Sergio Oliva as the best bodybuilder in the world in 1968, a year in which Sergio won the Mr. Olympia title unopposed. The top amateur bodybuilders of 1968 are also discussed, including 1968 AAU Mr. America Jim Haislop and 1968 NABBA Mr. Universe Dennis Tinerino.
